What we Do
The Foundation directs its educational activities in Kimuka and Maasai Land near Ngong in Kenya, Africa. Education in Kenya is expensive and requires parents to pay fees for textbooks, exams, uniforms, etc.
In Kenya, students are required to purchase and wear school uniforms, and historically, students who did not wear uniforms could be sent away from school at the discretion of the principal. On average, primary school uniforms in Kenya cost $14. One of the reasons cited why some children do not go to school despite free government run primary education is that many parents are too poor to afford school uniforms. Uniforms can be a huge financial burden for some parents.
It is the goal of the Foundation to help and assist the bright, engaged, and enthusiastic children of the area in pursuing a universal education. Please help us in providing school uniforms to children in Kenya.
